Roberto Lattanzi

Roberto Lattanzi, PhD, is the Head of the “Artificial Intelligence Department” at the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) and has been designated by the Italian Government as representative in the Convention on artificial intelligence negotiated at the Council of Europe. Admitted to the Bar of Piacenza, he has served as seconded national expert at the European Data Protection Supervisor. He has authored scientific articles, especially in the data protection field, and is professor on contract of Privacy Law at the Catholic University of Milan.
